WORSHIP WITH US THIS SUNDAY!! – 10:30 am in-person, on our Worship page, or on YouTube. We hope to see you there!
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine."
Isaiah 43:1b ESV
Years ago a group of women spent months meeting and praying to discern the future of ECC women’s retreats. It was decided that there is still great value in continuing this long-standing tradition. (Did you know that ECC women have been “retreating” together for over 60 years?! Did you know the first retreats were in tents with meals cooked over the campfire?! Anyone else feeling extra grateful for the cabins and beds at Camp Tecumseh?!)
Because we still believe there is something special that happens when we gather for the weekend, the women’s retreat tradition continues!
2024 is the fourth year that the retreat is an ECC/Riverside collaboration. What a gift it is to partner together, to serve and retreat together, to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to plan a retreat for you, for us.
Whoever you are, wherever you are in life, we’ve made a place for you at the table!
We would love to have you join us for beloved -- a weekend designed by women of ECC and Riverside to create space for you to step away from the normal rhythms of life and connect with God and other women.
Together we will explore being seen, known, and named by God, exploring how deeply He loves the women He created. Our hope and prayer is that we will each have a deeper experience of what it means for God to call us by name, to redeem us, and to belong to Him.
There are so many ways for your soul to be filled throughout the weekend - worship, conversation, solitude, nature, laughter & fun, self-determined free time!
Amy Seiffert
As we plan to gather together in November, we are thrilled to welcome Amy Seiffert as our speaker!
Amy is an author, speaker, and monthly YouVersion teacher. She also serves as the Pastor of Leadership Development at Soma City Church. Previously, she was a Team Leader with Cru at BGSU and worked with them for more than eighteen years. Amy is currently a graduate student at Denver Seminary in the Masters in Biblical and Theological Studies program. Her newest book, Your Name Is Daughter: What the unsung women of the Bible teach us about our worth, releases in February 2025.
Amy pulls you in with her story telling and down-to-earth insights. Weaving Biblical wisdom, Amy takes you for a ride and drops you off back home filled up with truth, love and hope. Relatable, funny, and a bit provocative, Amy has the uncanny ability to articulate what so many are thinking about in their daily lives. She inspires, teaches and humbly relates to the mystery and messiness of life.
Amy is married to Rob, and they live in Bowling Green, Ohio, with their three kids.
We pray you will accept the invitation and be a part of beloved as we gather at Camp Tecumseh on November 8-10, 2024.
