The Grove Covenant Church Kids
We believe that every child is created, loved and valued by God. Our hope is that each child who comes through our doors would experience God’s love through the care of our leaders and staff.
Children who would like to attend our nursery, preschool, and kindergarten classes can check in at the window in the main lobby. These classes begin at the start of worship.
Our 1st through 5th grade students will begin in worship with their families, and then be invited to participate in a class in the Life Center about 30 minutes after the worship service has started. We will bring these students to the Life Center together as a group, and the group returns to our worship space at the end of the service.
Kids Christmas Program
All children (through 5th grade) are invited to sing with us in our Kids Christmas Program on Sunday, December 14! Rehearsals will take place after worship on Sunday, November 30, and Sunday, December 7. Plan to meet in the Sanctuary after worship, and we will have families on their way by 12:15pm. Those who are participating should plan to arrive by 9:30am on Sunday, December 14. You can find more information here.
Meet Our Pastor of Families and Children
Kristin Devine Mueller became The Grove's Director of Children's Ministry in 2018 and the Pastor of Families and Children in 2021. She is married to Glen and has two young children. She has her Bachelors in Elementary Education from Trinity Christian College (Go Trolls!) and Master of Arts in Christian Formation from North Park Theological Seminary. She is ordained to Word and Service in the Evangelical Covenant Church. She enjoys reading, visiting with friends, cheering on Chicago teams, Purdue teams, and Drew Brees!
