Youth

A place to belong, to be known, and to explore what we believe

Student Ministry

We all want a place to belong, to be known, and explore what we believe. Teens and preteens are no different. Our Student Ministry helps provide opportunities to build relationships and develop a faith that will carry beyond those teen years. Our Student Ministry is more than youth group. From fun get-togethers, to weekly youth group nights during the school year, to small group discussions, summer trips, and service opportunities… there are many ways you can grow in your faith and in connection to God and other teens as a part of this youth group community. Interested? Find more information by connecting with one of our Student Ministry pastors!

Youth Group

During the School year, students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings throughout the semester for a time of snacks, getting to know other students, Bible study, and small group. We meet from 6:30-8:00pm each Wednesday in the Life Center building. Doors open at 6pm each week for those who would like to arrive early. Contact Pastor Kristin and Pastor Chuck with questions.

Youth Group Confirmation Class - Rooted

Students in 7th through 11th grade are invited to participate in a 2-year confirmation discipleship group, called Rooted, where we will study the church’s history, the Christian faith, and the stories of the Bible. This group will meet from 9-10am on scheduled Sunday mornings throughout the year. For more information, please contact Pastor Chuck or Pastor Kristin.

Soup Luncheon and Dessert Auction

All are invited to a Youth fundraiser on Sunday, November 24 after the Service of Thanksgiving. This fundraiser will help send our high school students and leaders on our summer trip in 2025. Come support our students by enjoying a “by-donation” soup lunch (meaning the cost is a donation of any amount towards our trip). During the lunch, you will be able to sample the homemade desserts from our students and families that will be Live-Auctioned in the LCA starting around 1pm after we eat. For more details or to find other ways to get involved, please see Pastor Chuck.

High School Summer Mission Trip

Pastor Chuck and the High School youth ministry are beginning the conversation for a High School mission trip for next summer,

2025.  This mission trip will be different than the past few years, which means that students will need to get on-board and participate in all the prep work and fundraising for the trip early.    For questions, please see Pastor Chuck.
