WORSHIP WITH US THIS SUNDAY!! – 10:30 am in-person, on our Worship page, or on YouTube. We hope to see you there!
To the High School graduating class of 2026 from all of us here at The Grove Covenant Church:
CONGRATULATIONS!!
We are incredibly proud of each of you and all the hard work, perseverance, and dedication that has brought you to this significant moment as this chapter of your journey concludes and a new one begins.
This coming Sunday, May 31st, we will take time during our worship service to recognize and celebrate our graduates with a special ministry spotlight and a time of prayer. Whether these students have grown up here at The Grove, been involved in our youth ministry, served throughout the church, or have only recently become part of our church family, we are excited to celebrate this accomplishment with them and pray God’s guidance and blessing over the road ahead.
Here is a list of the 2026 graduating high school students from the Grove:
Jordan Hamer – McCutcheon High School
Carter Hodgson – Faith Christian School
Myles Hodgson – Faith Christian School
Brennan Kimball – McCutcheon High School
River Lail – LAR Academy
Jaden Park – West Lafayette Jr/Sr. High School
Luke Pendley – Jefferson High School
Jordan Quesada – Jefferson High School
Gypsy Reid – McCutcheon High School
We also want to celebrate those from our church family who completed college or trade school programs this year! While there may be others we were not aware of, we especially want to recognize those who shared their accomplishments with us:
Kayla-Marie Pyne -- Associates in Chemical Sciences -- Vincennes University
Katie Taylor -- Purdue University
Karie Taylor -- Purdue University
Each year, we ask our graduates if they would like to share their thoughts or memories with us, and here are a few reflections we received:
Jaden Park
"I've grown up going to The Grove, and I made so many memories here. As a kid, I remember having fun eating snacks and doing crafts with Kim and Kevin. Recently in these past 2 years, I’ve been helping Kim and Kevin in Sunday School to help teach the kids about Jesus. I am so thankful for this church for helping me create a strong bond with God."
Carter Hodgson
"My parents came to church for the first time thanks to a member of The Grove. This has directly impacted me because I have grown up in church and in Christian schools my whole life. Without the people of The Grove, I would likely not know Christ. Growing up with Sunday school at The Grove helped me to have a strong faith early on.."
Congratulations again to the Class of 2026! We are thankful for each of these graduates and look forward to celebrating and praying over them together during worship this Sunday, May 31st, here at The Grove.
