WORSHIP WITH US THIS SUNDAY!! – 10:30 am in-person, on our Worship page, or on YouTube. We hope to see you there!
Growing in faith doesn't happen only at church. While Sunday mornings give us opportunities to worship, learn, and grow together, our faith continues to take shape throughout the week in our homes, around our tables, and through the simple rhythms of everyday life. Sometimes, a small spiritual practice can help us slow down, pay attention to God, and make room for Him in the midst of our busy lives.

This year, we're introducing a new series of gatherings called Growing Faith at Home. Throughout the year, we'll come together for three intergenerational events centered around a spiritual practice. We'll explore and experience a practice together at church, create something to take home, and discover ways to continue that practice in our everyday lives as a family.
Our first gathering will take place on Sunday, November 22, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. in the Life Center, and we'll focus on the season of Advent. Together, we'll create an Advent wreath to take home and use throughout the weeks leading up to Christmas. Each week, we'll light another candle, set aside a few moments to reflect, and use a devotional to help us connect with God as we wait and prepare for the coming of Jesus.
Advent begins Sunday, November 29, and we want to help you slow down before the holiday rush and consider how you might intentionally mark the season in your home. We know December looks different for every household and every stage of life, so we'll equip you with a flexible practice that can take just a few minutes each week or become a longer daily rhythm. There's no right or wrong way to observe Advent. We’re simply inviting you to make space for God in a way that works for you.
One of the beautiful things about spiritual practices is that they can look different at different stages of life. Young children can help count the candles, older children can read Scripture, teens can lead conversations, and adults can find meaningful reminders in the practice, too. There's room for everyone to participate and grow together!
We'll finish our time by sharing a simple dinner. The Grove will provide soup, and we're inviting participants to sign up to bring sandwich ingredients to share.
While this gathering is designed with families and children in mind, everyone is welcome! Whether you have children at home, are raising teenagers, or simply want to share in an afternoon of fellowship and faith formation with others, we'd love to have you join us. Neighbors and friends are welcome, too! The event is free, but please RSVP online so we can plan for dinner and supplies. We look forward to growing in faith together!
