Thank you to all our leaders, families and children who made Summer XP 2024 at Miller Elementary School such a memorable and fun time of ministry! We were encouraged to dive into friendship with God as we learned that God is a friend we can trust, God is a friend forever, and God is a friend for everyone. Our memory verse is one that we hope remains with kids for their whole lives, from John 3:16, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

We had 50 kids register for the three evenings of Summer XP with us, and we used the ECC bus to pick up children from the After School JAM program each night. At Summer XP, we fed children and families a delicious dinner, sang fun and playful songs with lots of movement, opened God’s word to learn a Bible story, got kids moving with games, did hands-on science projects that connected to the lesson, and had so much fun together!

We had an incredible team of over 70 people who prepared for and served at Summer XP and gave so generously of their time and talents. We celebrate that so many adults and teens joined us to serve, and we celebrate all the ways that those who served were able to get to know each other a little better as well. Thank you to each and every one of you for being a blessing to children and families in our community!
