"Every third Monday of January is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, an opportunity for our nation to remember and reflect upon the life and legacy of one of the greatest civil rights champions and preachers in our history.

There are many ways one could celebrate MLK Day: It could be through participating in acts of service. It also could be through attending an intercultural, interfaith gathering in your community or on campus. "
